To map a network drive:

If you are logged in with your PAWS ID and the LSU Domain

1. Right click "My Network Places", choose “Map Network Drive”.
2. Seclect Drive: W, and Folder: type \\geol-grads\www\yourpawsid
3. Make sure you check “Reconnect at logon” and click “Finish”.

You now should have a W drive in your “My Computer”.

Note: If you are not logged in with your paws id and LSU domain and your pc is on LSU network
Click the "different user name" link

1. In the new window, “Connect As”,  User name should be yourpawsid@lsu.edu, and Password is your paws password.
2. Click “OK” on the “Connect As” window.




3. Click “Finish” on the “ Map Network Drive”
You now should have a W drive in your “My Computer”.

In order to get your website working, you can create index.htm or index.html by any HTML editor.
We recommend you use Adobe Dreamweaver provided by virtual lab in tigerware.lsu.edu at  https://vlab.lsu.edu/preauth/login.cgi
