After the workshop, the teachers were provided with a CD of lesson plans including links to internet sites, several thousand Eocene and Miocene shark teeth, a collection of common fossils (e.g., trilobite), rocks and minerals, samples of crude oil and products created from oil, tree ring cookies for dendrochronology, and two 5 gallon clear water jugs to use as biospheres. |
