Magnolia Cemetery Field Trip
 

The LaCEPT sponsored Physical Geology class visited the Magnolia Cemetery on October 28th to make observations about weathering rates in rocks.

What better place (in Louisiana) to make observations about weathering?
 
 

This website is set up as a walk-through the scientific method. The pages that follow illustrate each step of this investigative approach applied to a study of weathering in the Magnolia Cemetery.
