Observations

Students recorded the following observations from their afternoon at the Magnolia Cemetery:

rock type (marble or granite), year of tombstone enplacement, orientation of the stone (vertical or horizontal; compass direction stone faced), legibility of the engraving (1= sharp, clear letters 5= barely legible letters, more than half of the letters obliterated).
