Research opportunities for PhD, MS, and undergraduate students

We seek motivated and creative students to join our group. On-going projects include

1) Atmospheric deposition and landscape stability in the Antarctic Dry Valleys,
2) Atmospheric deposition and migration in hyperarid environments (the Atacama, the Central Namib),
3) Mysterious volcanic sulfur emission events in the northern High Plains in the Cenozoic,
4) Sulfur and oxygen chemistry and biogeochemical cycles in early Earth (South Africa, northwestern China, and laboratory experiments),
5) Dynamics of sulfur and oxygen isotope fractionations associated with sulfur oxidation and sulfate reduction,
6) Earth system during Neoproterozoic/Cambrian transition,
7) Earth system during Late Carboniferous-Permian transition.
